The 2008 North Country Sustainable Energy Fair in Canton (NY) featured Post Carbon Senior Fellow Richard Heinberg as the Keynote Speaker to a packed auditorium. The annual event attracted 1,800 people from all over upstate New York and Canada with 54 varied workshops and over 60 exhibitors. Members of the North Country Peak Oil Study/Action Group ran a brisk business at their Peak Oil booth selling Heinberg's books and a variety of dvds.
