Hi All,
Welcome to the brand new CSI Website on the Relocalization Network! This took a little while to get going but now we are up and running, and our hope is that it will be a great place for us to continue with helping to coordinate the various ongoing sustainability/relocalization efforts in our Crestone/Baca community, especially among the various pre-existing entities such as the Manitou Foundation, Crestone, Peak, ScSEED, SLVEC, etc. and also in the existing Conference Action Areas of: Emergency Resources, Energy/Fuel, Green Business Models, Food, Land and Water, and Social Sustainability.
We also hope that this will be a great clearing house for enriching our relationships with other like-minded 'green' communities around the world, to share our resources and contacts to better help us all 'heal the fever' of Global Warming. And finally, in keeping with our efforts to become a working model for other communities in our bio-region, it will be a valuable resource for the individuals, entities and communities that come to work with us to further their sustainability and relocalization efforts here in the SLV as well.
Thank you one and all for visiting our site and for your continued valuable contributions to making our home a better place to live 'somewhere over the rainbow'.
Best Wishes,
Lee Temple, Coordinator
Crestone/Baca Sustainability Initiative

Welcome!
Hi Lee,
Thanks for posting - we're thrilled to have you as part of the Relocalization Network.
The goal of the Network has been to connect people so we can support each other and learn from each other's experiences - not constantly trying to reinvent the wheel. The Network started gradually and continues to evolve - this is a learning process and the best we can do is just start experimenting.
It was great talking with you and best of luck getting started! If you or anyone else has any questions about using the website, feel free to email me at network at postcarbon dot org.
cheers,
shelby
