This month people from across the Lower Mainland will be coming together to take some everyday green action. Modeled on the enormously popular philosopher's café format, we are bringing together small groups in the community for peer-to-peer problem solving to discuss how we can all significantly reduce our environmental footprint. Our next meeting's theme is set to address BC's new Carbon Tax. We will be joined by the Suzuki Foundation's Ian Bruce who will answer questions on the provinces new carbon tax. It's a café that we hope will shed some light on just how effective the new tax will be in helping average consumers decrease their carbon footprint. This month, the café is set for 7 PM Tuesday March 18 at Bump and Grind Specialty Coffee at 916 Commercial Drive.
