• Welcome & set-up
• 15 minute slideshow on Climate Change by Michael Shore,MCE, FLS Energy,
who went through Al Gore's slideshow training, and has been working on energy policy for years.
• 15 minute slideshow on Peak Oil by Jim Fox, a scientist with years of experience in the petroleum industry.
• personal journaling exercise to the music of Mary Sparks, local hammer dulcimer player.
11-1 Open Space
Participants will suggest, form and participate in groups that deal with climate change and peak oil. The event officially ends at 1 PM.
1-2:30- Lunch on your own afterwards if you meet someone interesting, which you will; and you want to keep talking. Ten locally owned restaurants within healthy walking distance.
No coffee or snacks provided (or allowed inside the library), but if you drop by the West End Bakery by 9 AM, they have good food (and long lines).
