Giant Organic Kitchen Garden - Qld Home Garden Expo 2007

Queensland Home Garden Expo
Giant Organic Kitchen Garden

Visit the Maroochy Showgrounds at Nambour and learn about permaculture and organic gardening on the Sunshine Coast at the Giant Organic Kitchen Garden.

Bigger and better than ever, this popular display features local permaculturists and organic experts demonstrating sustainable gardening :: worm farming, composting, green manuring, mulching, soil health etc

ABC's Gardening Australia's Jerry Coleby-Williams kicks off the lectures on Friday morning at 9.30am with his talk on "Gardening in a continually surprising climate"

Professional permaculturists and sustainable gardeners present this remarkable feature once again. Incorporating a totally organic food court along with a fully planted sustainable garden constructed on site - you will find everything you ever wanted to know about this form of gardening. Informative demonstrations, workshops and lectures run for the full three days of the Expo. Cooking demonstrations with Barb Wickes, no dig gardening demo’s, worm farming, creating frog ponds – all part of this fantastic feature.

Three day passes are available

Organic food, coffee and lemonade will be available.

Full Circle Summer Camp

Come join us at the Full Circle Community Farm for a summer experience filled with learning and fun!

Full Circle Summer Camp will focus on interest driven, child-led, natural, organic, eclectic, or self-directed learning. Our teachers will guide your children through the day while we play games, create and build, tell stories, play in the mud, create plays, explore, and sing songs, all at the beautiful Full Circle Community Farm. Here at Full Circle Summer Camp we will foster an environment in which children can gain new perspectives about themselves, learn about interacting respectfully with other life, and discover that they are indeed an important part of nature.
