Film Screening/Discussion of "Who Killed The Electric Car?" & Viewing of Locally-Designed BugE Electric Transport Vehicle

Have you seen the BugE yet? I haven't - I'm looking forward to it, when Mark brings it to our film on Jan. 20! You're invited!.....[And please visit the film's excellent website below!]

The film "Who Killed the Electric Car" will be shown at the Unitarian-Universalist Church of Eugene on Sunday, January 20, at 7 p.m., followed by a discussion. Mark Murphy, creator of the BugE, will attend and bring a BugE for all to see. Sponsored by the Green Sanctuary Committee at UUCE.

INSTITUTE OF BIOWISDOM at Sunbow Farm in Corvallis, Or. Carpooling strongly encouraged!

Sunbow Farm workshops are designed to provide you with skills to ease the transition during this time of the end of cheap petroleum living. The topics form an integrated knowledge base which, when set into practice, will feed you and all your relationships with a sense of total well-being.

PRUNING FRUIT TREES/BUSHES/VINES
January 20 - Instructor Steve Rose, Organic Nurseryman & Farmer

Long-time organic grower with combined skills in how to prune young fruit trees, older trees, vines and bushes. A hands-on workshop using Sunbow's orchard, blueberry, grape, and boysenberry patches.

-How to decide a tree needs pruning
-Thinning
-Tip pruning
-Tips on tree care for fruiting
-Necessary pruning techniques for vine and bush fruiting

Note: please bring your own pruning tools and appropriate outdoor attire for rain.
