Statement of Intent
Our Mission is to strengthen the community through friendships, living locally, teaching, sharing and neighborhood gathering events.
How will this benefit us?
The benefits of living locally are enormous. The world we live in today has changed dramatically and we stand at the forefront of a beautiful transition. Reducing our dependencies on a non-sustainable way of life has never been more important. By doing so, we become closer to one another, naturally.
By getting to know your neighbors, security is increased. By reducing our dependency on oil, well, there's many obvious reasons for this one. By bringing the work closer to home, it means less trips into the city, less commuting, better environmental qualities, and less dependency on the plummeting value of the dollar.
Get FREE stuff! This is one of best parts of joining us.. If you have a skill, product, or desire to help out, keep one thing in mind.. So do your neighbors! Need your lawn mowed? Want some free fruits or vegetables? Know how to fish? Need your mailbox fixed? Mind running some errands? Need your sink fixed? Know how to fix a car? Know how to repair or upgrade a building? Want some free clothes for the kids? Like to teach? This list could go on and on..
