Vision
To create a community based life-long learning and resource center that is a model for Regenerative Education in a sustainable society.
Mission
By providing essential learning scenarios that will unify current knowledge, technologies, and socio-economic conditions with ecological concepts in order to develop human and social capacity to imagine, and construct regenerative living/ learning environments. Our center will serve as a community touchstone for people coming together to co-create through 4R’s of development: Relationship, Relocalization, Regenerative Design, and Return of Surplus.
Relationship We believe it is important to achieve economic self-reliance as well as a strong sense of community by providing people with a space to come together, to learn and support each other in creating abundance while minimizing the impacts of a society transitioning through climatic and energy related complexities. Here people of all ages sense that they are working together for a better future.
Relocalization The development of this center will support the production of local goods and services while also making a firm commitment to reducing consumption and improving environmental and social conditions.
Regenerative Design The value of our center will be realized through a renewed sense of place, community, and abundance. Inherent in this process is to first identify and reconnect with our intrinsic values, then learn to design in our individual and collective environments the beauty and authentic nature of the human experience as regenerative.
Return Of Surplus Our center will support and make available opportunities for co-creative, transformative, and co-operative learning, through living ethics, and renewable resources in order to build collective capacity, and abundance. Through Permaculture principles for regenerative design, we will utilize local services, and work to replenish social, environmental, and economic interconnections that will ensure quality of life for generations to come.
