The new group theme (which we last mentioned a week ago, here) is ready to use. The layout is designed to be more readable, more space-efficient and also more fun. It comes with some new group features, like the ability to create and customize your own top menu, and to put your own banner across the top of the page.

Have a look at Example Group for an example of how the new theme looks and behaves.

Group managers - want to try it out? Switching is easy:

1. Edit your group (click on the "edit" tab at the top of your group homepage)
2. Scroll down to the "Theme Configuration" section
3. Click on the radio button to select "group_theme_1"
4. Scroll down to the bottom of the form, and click "Submit" to save this change.
