Investing in our (an alternative) future

It seems to me that we need to take the bull by the horns and invest directly in alternative economic structures that embody the principles that we believe in.

It is certainly a David v. Goliath situation and there is so much momentum and entropy in the way that money is invested and spent in "our" culture, that such a suggestion seems futile.

However, we will have no chance of realizing an alternative economy without putting forth a new paradigm in the way that resources are allocated to and within our communities.
