Goals of the Clackamas County Peak Oil:
* Promote development of local, sustainable businesses that provide essential goods and services to the citizens of West Linn and Clackamas County..
* Promote greater use of alternative forms of transportation within the area and the surrounding region including mass transit, bicycles, mopeds, electric vehicles and also feet.
* Promote development of Community Supported Agriculture and local community gardens for use by local residents.
* Promote the use of green building technologies and the use of recycled and/or sustainable building materials in the development or remodling of homes and businesses.
I haven't had much time to devote to this effort over the past year. If there is someone who would like to take this on and has a plan to generate more attention and interest, please contact me.
