Using Acorns: A nutritious local food source

A workshop with Mary Carpelin in leaching and cooking with acorns, a high protein, locally-available food source. 9 to 12 noon, followed by a potluck lunch. Donations welcome for Mary's time and effort.

Bring lots of acorns and something to grind them with (food processor or morter and pestle). Location to be announced. Does anyone want to offer the use of a large kitchen for the workshop?
