PostCarbon / Green Drinks Get-together in Oakville
Green Drinks are informal gatherings of people interested in environmental issues who meet to talk and exchange ideas and information. Green Drinks is a self-organizing network, and there are no fees. Green Drinks began in London in 1989 and has since spread to almost 150 locations worldwide. See: greendrinks.org
Who: Anyone with an interest in environmental/sustainability issues (e.g. climate change, peak oil, local food security, green design, corporate social responsibility, green economics…)
When: Saturday, November 25, 2006 - 4:30 p.m. onwards. Call in for ten minutes or stay as long as you like.
Where: Queen’s Head Pub, 118 Dunn Street (SW corner at Church Street across from Oakville Transit station – Route 17 bus)
Cost: Buy your own.
