Permaculture Noosa

Description:

Permaculture Noosa meet on the third Thursday of every month. They meet at the Cooroy Memorial Hall next to the RSL in the main street of Cooroy. Meetings start at 7pm with market stalls - members selling seeds, excess produce, honey etc. Guest speaker starts at 7.30pm and a shared supper follows. Speakers include topics like: chook care, plant propogation, seed collecting, relocalisation, cob oven making, permaculture international projects, school and community permaculture gardens, grey water systems etc etc etc.

Membership is available at a reasonable price and entitles you to a regular informative newsletter. Members also get together at people's homes to help them with large projects around the garden - eg putting up fences, building chook houses, clearing weeds etc.

How to get involved:

Just turn up at the next meeting, introduce yourself at the door as a newcomer and someone will show you around. Bring some cash to buy some goodies at the market and there is usually a raffle or two happening on the night.
