Renewable Energy Inventions: MEG & REMAT

While we are duly concerned about all the negative consequences of fossil fuels and related problems such as global warming, I think we tend to overlook that there are a lot of individual scientists and researchers out there who are hard at work to come up with renewable energy sources as well as the equipment and machines to create and sustain them. We have to begin with what Nikola Tesla posited a century or so ago, that there is abundant energy within our own atmosphere, in the form of electromagnetism, that can be tapped for our electrical power needs, even our transportation needs. Over the years various individuals have explored his ideas and inventions, and expounded upon new ideas as well, in attempts to bring his vision of abundant energy to fruition. I believe we are getting closer all the time. A recent article I read in Nexus Magazine, Issue Vol 12, No. 4, entitled "The Free Energy Race" by Jeff Sargent, discusses some of this progress.

One inventer, Colonel Tom Bearden, has actually patented a device called the MEG, or Motionless Electromagnetic Generator, which, of course, generates electricity. He actually co-invented MEG with four others, Jean Louis Naudin, Stephen L. Patrick, James C. Hayes, and Kenneth D. Moore. It is now being developed for production and marketing. Another device is the REMAT, or Rare Earth Magnetic Amplification Technology, that is also in late development stages by a company called GMC Holdings. Neither of these devices is some lunatic fringe toy fit only for UFO enthusiasts, but are inventions apparently being looked at by Siemens, BAE Systems, NASA, Motorola, to name a few organizations.

The REMAT website advertises that it can be used in homes, businesses, transportation, etc., wherever old-fashioned generators are currently in operation, and is clean, efficient, non-polluting and powered by electromagnetism. Tests of the REMAT have been very positive. There is definitely hope out there for the post carbon world.

To get a glimpse of how far along research is on new technologies, I briefly toured and highly recommend Louis Naudin's website at:

A word of caution...

In the interest of full disclosure, I am a competitor to both the firms mentioned. The MEG has at least one issued U.S. Patent, and another pending that may have been issued by now. However, the device, like everything that involves Tom Bearden, should be taken with a grain of salt. He has been around for a long time and his writing is often full of errors. It is hard to see the MEG becoming a practical system. The Naudin reproduction also reflects errors. With regard to REMAT, note the firm is part of GMCHoldings, which according to the SEC filings, was first incorporated as "Here Comes Grandma, Inc.". They apparently have not filed required SEC reports for some years. However, their technology looks as though it could prove real -- and it may prove capable of doing what they claim it does. Finally, in spite of the comments above, I welcome the development of this type of technology by all who are capable. The planet is in need of every carbon free alternative. The general direction explored by both these inventions is extremely important to bring forward, as rapidly as is humanly possible. Mark Goldes Magnetic Power Inc.

Answer to word of caution regarding GMC Holding Corp.

Mark, You are correct in most of your statements regarding GMC Holding Corp. I would like to correct one misstatement of fact provide some background information about the company that will hopefully clear up the issues you found troubling. GMC Holding Corp went public by purchasing an inactive public shell named Here Comes Grandma, Inc. As soon as the inactive publicly traded shell was acquired the name was changed to GMC Holding Corp. The current officers and directors of GMC Holding Corp. were not involved in the operation of the previously named Her Comes Grandma, Inc. There are two ways a private company may go public. They can either start up from scratch with the SEC to create a new shell or they can purchase an existing public shell and rename it for their purpose. The purchase of an existing shell is much quicker and that is the method GMC Holding Corp. used to go public. There were no SEC filings during the years the public shell formerly named Here Comes Grandma, Inc was inactive. There is no requirement for Pink Sheet companies to make regular SEC filings, so neither the previous owner of the public shell or the current owner GMC Holding Corp. are delinquent in any SEC filings. However at this time the company is on track in it's goal to become fully reporting and listed on the AMEX stock exchange by January of 2006. In a recent company press release we announced we have engaged Tedder, James, Worden & Associates, P.A. of Orlando to complete its audits and reviews to facilitate compliance for application to one of the national exchanges. As soon as the audits are completed they will be filed with SEC and GMC Holding Corp will automatically move up to the OTCBB exchange. Dan York GMC Holding Corp. IR gmcir@dallastexas.net 214 675-2531

On MEG & REMAT

Thanks for the info, Mark. MEG & REMAT are definitely steps in the right direction. Their creators are pioneers into the future that Tesla envisioned. Some will fall by the wayside, but others will salute their efforts, pick up the torch and continue the adventure. Progressively, Mac
