Vancouver Peak Oil is a group of citizens concerned with creating awareness and action plans to prepare for the coming of oil depletion. They include some well known sustainability leaders on their board. I highly recommend checking out their website, joining their email list, attending their events/meetings and for sure sign their pettition for creation of a Metro Vancouver Peak Oil Task Force
