possible suggestions on foundations for grantwriting to, from Eugene, OR.

Greetings from "Post Carbon Eugene", Oregon outpost/group...after being out of these first few hundred emails on the Hub...

Who of you out there might've had success in grantwriting to support your time and efforts Relocalizing? Since before the April run-up to mssrs. Heinberg and Lerch speaking here(again) at the University of Oregon, life on the computer and at meetings is becoming increasingly busy. Oil climbing to $140/b and beyond while the dollar inversely tanks will certainly increase our collective work. We're in great need for this promptly. Suggestions and experience on grantwriting would be greatly appreciated. Personal experience is close to nil, and the only foundation in Oregon that I'm aware of that funds progressive 'campaigns' like this, McKenzie River Gathering, won't be awarding any again til the end of the year. I know some foundations have geographical regions(etc) they cover, so that may be something to keep in mind too...

Please feel free to visit our site too...content is updated constantly...

Thanks,

Keep up the crucial work,

Doug
