As a quick forward to my reply below, I had to login to the website and post this, because the copy I sent by e-mail didn't seem to make it into the forum.

The hockey stick graph has _never_ been debunked. Although, the denialists who were propagating that nonsense have been.
I do have a question though, and since it's not nice I probably shouldn't say it, but what kind of "professional" does this guy claim to be? Professional auto detailer? Or has idiot now become a profession, since we have one as president?

Cooling
I guess like anything statistics can be made to portray what any author wants to make of them. I think that given the information that I have seen recently, and perhaps I have not seen all, warming trends continue, however a recent television programme that aired here in Australia demonstrated that some cooling is occuring. The main thrust of the science was that the North Atlantic current (Conveyer Belt as they call it) was slowing due to significant increases in fresh water as a result of polar (Arctic ice) melting. This would result in a significant and perhaps quite sudden/rapid decrease in atmospheric temperatures, particularly in the Norther hemisphere. The result would be severe weather changes to Western Europe, with emphasis on extreme changes as far south as Portugal and almost catastrophic changes to weather patterns in North America. I believe that this could be exacerbated by a number of other factors, however as I live in Australia and most of the content appeared to focus on the Northern hemisphere I was not paying 100% attention. If you were to research sudden climate change/ice age/north atlantic current on Google or some other search engine I am sure you will find addition information that may answer your question. I don't know if this will help, but I hope so
