This Sunday we are joining forces again for a second picking of organically-grown tomatoes that would otherwise turn into mulch. This time the CLAG group (Crafty Ladies Activity Group) are coming to pick some for their Christmas party for seniors, with excess going to a charity of their choice.
The tomatoes from the first picking went to Meals On Wheels and the Community Food Outreach (by Christian Outreach Church).
If anyone would like to suggest a destination for the tomatoes, please email me on the address below. I'd like to build up a list of charities that will accept food donations if we do this again in the future.
Come and join if you can and take home some delicious tomatoes for your family too!
Where: John Moffat Road (left off Moore Park Rd, before Gooburrum School if you're coming from town), small farm on the right
When: This Sunday 2nd December, from 7am
What to bring: buckets, bags, crates, a drink, hat, sunscreen and SustainaBundy shirt if you have one!
I'll bring an esky.
Hope to see you there!
