I put in in a jar (in the freezer) and when I've collected a full cycle I dilute it immediately with H20 and pour it on my house plants. I didn't consider drying it out and I'm sure that would work well too. The only concern is if you have pets that may dig around your plant when they smell the blood, as we had some outdoor plants which received the same treatment and the dogs dug up all around the roots of the plants looking for a treat.
