Hi Perry. Glad to have found this site after much searching. Just wanted to drop you a line to say thanks for trying to get SOMETHING started in our area regarding this issue. I am stunned nearly every day at the complete ignorance/apathy that surrounds the topic of PO or any variation of it from friends to family, co-workers to the media. I have been studying this and several other topics for many years, since the early 90's anyway, but have never seen the perfect recipe for "impending doom" so much as I have recently. Strange how so many seemingly unrelated events have converged to create an unprecedented catastrophic change to our way of life. I hope there are others in our area that have contacted you, not the "Hunker-down with my assault rifle an' shoot 'em all" types, but rational problem-solving "want-to-live and willing-to-build-a-new-way-of-life" type people. Please keep me updated on any meetings, discussion groups, etc. Now is the time to start planning our options for the near future regarding community, family, employment and basic survival with minimal suffering. Anyone that would like to add to this rant is more than welcome. Keep up the good work.
